ALASKA |

| Dramatic mountains and immense glaciers, rivers thick with migrating salmon, lush forested islands draped in mist and mystery, northern lights dancing across the winter sky....these are but a few of the ways to describe the diversity of Alaska. This is still a place where Native peoples follow their sustinence way of life and where wildlife is truly wild - foraging grizzlies, herds of caribou filling a valley and polar bear on the ice pack. |

CAMBODIA |

A heart shaped country nurtured by the Mekong River, Cambodia once ruled the delta as a mighty empire. Over a period of 300 years, between 900 and 1200 AD, the Khmer Kingdom of Angkor produced some of the world's most magnificent architectural masterpieces, near the present town of Siem Reap. After the brutality of the Khmer Rouge during the 1970s and 80's, it is only in recent years that reconstruction efforts have begun and some political stability has finally returned to Cambodia. |

These faces represent chance connections in a world of hope |

WILDLIFE |

| For wild animals, each day is a struggle to survive, so every sense must remain on high alert. This edgy, taut-nerved vigilance shows in the eyes and posture of both predators and prey. But as the numbers of wild animals dwindle, so too are the opportunities to see them in their natural state. |
