FIFTY IS THE KEY? COUNT CAGLIOSTRO SPEAKS
LIGHT OF THE NIGHT
During recent correspondence with fellow researchers, one mentioned to me that according to Michael Howard's overview book on the esoteric underground, The Occult Conspiracy, 18th Century Mystery Man Extraordinaire Count Cagliostro "resided at 50 Berkeley Square in London during his period of exile". This simple statement sparked off a complex chain of inspirations, research coincidences and realizations which has led to this convoluted, many-levelled article. So here goes...
First of all, just who WAS Cagliostro? No-one seems to know for sure. I haven't had access to primary source documents which mention him, neither are they mentioned in the majority of the ten or so secondary source books I've consulted (the exception being Charles Mackay's most curious, Downardian-relevant tome entitled Extraordinary Popular Delusions (1841), which contains the fullest and probably most reliable account), so believe or not the following biographical history which is a collage of their information:
Cagliostro was a pupil of the Count de Saint-Germain, himself another Mystery Man and supposed Rosicrucian, Alchemist, Freemason, Illuminatus and Spy. He was also extremely rich, and claimed he could draw precious stones out of the earth, and pearls from the sea, by the magic of his incantations. According to Johannes von Buttlar's Journey to Infinity, only a single document is known to exist that can with certainty be attributed to Saint-Germain. Entitled La Tres Sainte Trinosophie, it is kept in the Library at Troyes, France. In addition to symbolic drawings, it contains a bizarre and cryptic text, which to date has resisted every attempt to be fully deciphered. One decoded extract reads:
We moved through space at a speed that can be compared with nothing but itself . . . Within a fraction of a second the plains below us were out of sight, and the earth had become a faint nebula. I was carried up, and I travelled through the empyrean for an incalculable time at an immeasurable height. Heavenly bodies revolved, and worlds vanished below me...
This is deep occult, Secret Chiefs territory, and not as outré and fantastic as it may at first appear. The Taoist Saints levitated and floated freely on the wind, and is said that Simon Magus (15 BC-53 AD), a magician of great power and contender for the title of Messiah at the same time as Jesus, was also into flying, beating the apostle Peter in displays of flying magic in front of the Roman Emperor. Since then, other people have flown through the air, or at least levitated. Both phenomenon are well known in the traditions of yoga, spiritualism, and demonic possession. In Faces in the Smoke, Douchean Gersi's eyewitness account of various magical traditions "and other amazing human powers", he describes his meeting with a Haitian man named Saint-Germain, who turned out to be "the emperor" of the "Flying Men" sect, who apparently work outside of the accepted Voodoo tradition, and are renowned for journeying through the air and dematerializing and materializing in front of the eyes of witnesses. This is supposedly done by dancing to reach a state of deep trance ecstasy, then waiting to be possessed by "Erzulie-Yeux-Rouges" (Erzulie-Red-Eyes), a female Loa worshipped as the goddess of love and sex. The top-level initiates of the sect are said to fly without the need of a ceremony, and appear as small luminescent points of light moving in the sky, which is exactly the same description as the great majority of UFO reports, which raises some interesting questions.
During their esoteric researches and astral wanderings, did intrepid occult adventurers Saint-Germain and Cagliostro somehow stumble into the secrets of time-travel, enabling them to escape the bounds of our mundane dimensional continuum? Saint-Germain and Cagliostro both claimed to possess the Elixir of Life and to have lived for many centuries. Both have enigmatic histories. They both gave accurate prophecies of future events. Do they really rest in graves, or are they still alive in a future or past time or some other dimension, transmitting information to those deemed or proven worthy? In this respect, note that Aleister Crowley claimed to be a reincarnation of Cagliostro, discovering this magical memory during his 1918 trance workings on Oesopus Island in America, which raises some intriguing possibilities. Crowley may have physically trod in the same footprints as Cagliostro during his Cefalu period in Sicily, especially during his visits to Palermo, Cagliostro's birthplace - and perhaps psychically also, where, consciously or otherwise, Crowley was carrying on some aspect of Cagliostro's work?
Count Cagliostro, Alchemist, Cabalist, Magician, Seer, Healer, and self-professed reincarnation of the prophet Elijah, was born in 1743 as Giuseppe Balsamo in Palermo, Sicily. (He is also known as Joseph Balsamo and called himself many other names, leading some biographers [and Charles Fort] to maintain that Balsamo and Cagliostro were two entirely different people). He was a difficult boy and so when he was fifteen his mother placed him in the care of Benedictine monks, where he learnt chemistry and medicine, before escaping and becoming a travelling adventurer. By a cunning deception he obtained a large sum of money from a wealthy Palermo goldsmith named Marano, and, helped by this sudden change of fortune he began calling himself "Count Alessandro (or Alexander) di Cagliostro".
Around this time he came into contact with the mysterious Althotas, whom Cagliostro claimed was his master in occultism. By NAEQ6, the name ALTHOTAS = 68 = JESUS = AND STARS = ALL ORDEALS ALL (ALL is an anagram of LAL, the LA-AL or NOT-GOD formula so important in the Thelemic Mysteries), which suggests he was a genuine Secret Chief of the White Lodge (Star and Heavens symbolism usually refers to the White Lodge; whilst Skull [sometimes with Crossed-bones], Thunderbolt and Fasces symbolism usually refers to the Black Order). Together they travelled extensively in Egypt, Arabia and parts of Asia, gaining occult knowledge and instruction from other initiates of these lands. Aged 23, Cagliostro returns to the island of Malta, Althotas leaves the scene, and the Count is initiated into the Order of the Knights of Malta. He obtains more money from a Sicilian Prince, and marries the beautiful Lorenza Feliciani. The Cagliostros travel about peddling remedies such as the aphrodisiac Spanish Fly (Cantharides), and become known for their incredible occult abilities amongst their illustrious clientele, having claimed to have discovered the Elixir of Life or the Philosopher's Stone.
In July 1776 the Count and Countess de Cagliostro travel to London, where they lived in great style in Witcombe Street. Whilst in London, Cagliostro forecasted several times in a row the winning numbers in lotteries, and he was admitted as Joseph Balsamo into the Esperance Lodge of Freemasons, at the rooms of the King's Head Tavern in Gerard Street, Soho, on April 12th, 1777; his wife also became a Mason (although conspiritorialist Nesta Webster says that Balsamo's initiation occurred in 1776 and that there is no record of such a Lodge at that time and that Balsamo later admitted he was initiated into a Hermetic Order known as the Haute Observance, which may have been a Strict Templar Observance Masonic Lodge, haute being the French term for 'high command', 'highest level' etc., which is cognate with the mysterious "Unknown Superiors" who oversee the affairs of the STO Lodges). Around this period he was framed as a swindler and languished briefly in the King's Bench prison, after which the Cagliostros returned to the continent to make a grand circuit of the Freemasonic Lodges there, especially the Strict Templar Observance Lodges, whose members were sometimes called "Illuminated" because of their occultism. In fact, by this time many Strict Templar Observance Lodges had been infiltrated by the Bavarian Illuminati. In 1780 at Frankfurt, Cagliostro himself was initiated into Weishaupt's Illuminati by two of its leaders in a subterranean chamber.
He then went directly to Strasbourg where he stayed for the next three years, effecting marvellous cures on hundreds of people, his house being filled with the crutches of cripples he had healed. He and his wife then travel again and Cagliostro either restores or invents Egyptian Rite Masonry, an 'irregular' Lodge wherein both men and women were eligible for membership. Styling himself "The Grand Copt" and his wife "The Grand Mistress", he establishes his Mother Lodge of Egyptian Rite Masonry in Lyons, France. This was an even more ancient and solemn Rite than that of modern Masons; not an alternative to already established rites of Freemasonry, but of an altogether higher order, and only Freemasons could qualify for it. As a result of working the Egyptian Rite, Cagliostro's occult powers suddenly increased. He spends the rest of his life travelling and trying to establish the Egyptian Rite, first moving to Paris where he and his wife made enormous amounts of money from their Masonic endeavour, residing in a large, secluded house surrounded by extensive grounds, where they instigated a far out scene, causing people to see visions in the magic mirror, become rejuvenated by a special elixir, receive cures and fraternize with spirit beings during weird seances. Cagliostro himself talked to the spirits through the medium of children who gazed into a bowl of water. Some Egyptian Rite workings involved nudity, the participants watching entranced at the climax as Cagliostro descended from the ceiling seated naked upon a golden ball with a star shining upon his forehead.
In 1785 the famous Diamond Necklace Affair occurred, a case surrounded by much intrigue involving a scandalous plot orchestrated by the Cardinal de Rohan and Madame de la Motte to swindle Queen Marie Antoinette out of 1.6 million francs for the creation of a diamond necklace. La Motte falsely implicated Cagliostro in the crime, and he was arrested. The Diamond Necklace Affair produced a trial at which Cagliostro acquitted himself admirably, leaving him more popular with the people than ever. So great was his fame that when he was released from the Bastille in Paris in 1786, a crowd of ten thousand turned out to acclaim him. As a direct result of the trial and the embarrassment he had caused in high places, Cagliostro was banished by the King and forced into exile, so fled with his wife once again to London, where (according to Michael Howard), he set up his headquarters at 50 Berkeley Square, where in 1787 he writes to his friends in Paris predicting the coming French Revolution, the fall of the Bastille, the overthrow of the monarchy, the destruction of the Church and the founding of a new religion based on love and reason. These predictions - some of which turned out to be accurate - were probably based more on his inside knowledge of the plans of the Illuminists than any psychic faculty he might have possessed. The laying bare during the trial of so much of the lives and habits of those who lived in careless ease and obscene luxury was also a factor.
(Interestingly, the Diamond Necklace Affair and the subsequent trial occurred simultaneously with the officially-sanctioned suppression of the Bavarian Illuminati, from which we can surmize that the Affair was a semi-successful attempt by Weishaupt's Illuminati to discredit the French monarchy. Soon afterwards saw the beginnings in Leipzig of what was to become another clandestine Illuminati front organization, the marvellously-named "German Union for Rooting out Superstition and Prejudices and Advancing True Christianity", which was officially founded in 1787 - the year of Cagliostro's apocalyptic predictions - and operated by mail only, circulating progressively more radical and extreme documents to its members.)
The Count's reputation and career seemed to go downhill from then onwards. He was targeted by black propaganda newspaper exposes in London and abroad, and after more wanderings to Basel, Turin, then Austria, with the police constantly moving him and his wife on, Cagliostro was eventually arrested in Rome in 1789, for foolishly trying to propagate Freemasonry in the realm of the Pope, and was thrown into the prisons of the Inquisition, who condemned him to death. The Pope commuted the sentence to life imprisonment, which was in fact merely a slower death sentence, due to the terrible conditions under which he was confined. His wife was imprisoned in the Convent of St. Appolonia, where she was reported to have died in 1794. Cagliostro supposedly died a year later in the dungeons of Castel San Leo (unless they were both somehow released by their Illuminati comrades and made their way to the safety of obscurity).
Despite being unfairly compared with his contemporary, the rather questionable Franz Anton Mesmer and his hysterical hypochondriac 'animal magnetism' hypno-parties, Cagliostro lived his life in the manner of a good Freemason, always generous to the poor, selflessly giving them alms or the even greater gift of touching their imagination, and generally spreading Illumination wherever he went. Unlike his persecutors, there is no evidence that he ever harmed anyone by his activities.
We are concerned here with his activities in London. This "Dream City", a centre of Illuminati activity, formed part of the esoteric 'Grand Tour' religiously undertaken by the sons of secret societies: all the heavy-duty occultists have made mysterious pilgrimages to London for even mysteriouser purposes: Giordano Bruno, Henry Cornelius Agrippa, Eliphas Levi, and those more shadowy figures who are not in the history books. (A useful investigation into the inherent weirdness of both old and contemporary London is Iain Sinclair's Lights Out for the Territory, its stream of consciousness style admirably documenting dimensional interpenetration and providing locational clues for further study. This is not surprising really, as the Sinclair clan are major players in the Conspiracy.)
Following James Shelby Downard's premise that Nothing Happens By Chance And Everything Is Purposefully Significant Via The Science Of Symbolism, which includes The Science Of Names, The Science Of Places, and other sorcerous methodologies - we note that Cagliostro chose to live not in any old street, but in a Square. The secret code-phrase used by Freemasons to designate that they are part of the Brotherhood is to say that they are "on the Square", which refers to the tessellated black and white floor of the temple, upon which Freemasons work their rituals, manipulating the pieces of the Great Game they play upon this chequered-board of nights and days (Everything), hither and thither moves, and checks and slays. Most good dictionaries will describe a square as 'space on a chessboard', the 'royal game' of the battle between light and dark, negative and positive, among much else. Indeed, the esoteric element of Freemasonry can be expressed in one line: "The knowledge of God contracted in the Square". The square is an instrument commonly used in building in order to achieve a divine truth of regularity. Perfectly squared blocks fit together to form a society, whilst rough blocks do not.
So naturally, solemn initiates of the Freemasonic-Illuminati elite would tend to favour literally living on a Square in their everyday lives also (the British Prime Minister's country residence in Halton, where private Government conferences are held, foreign dignitaries received over the weekend, and other guests are entertained as a "special privilege", a place where important behind the scenes deals are done, is known as "Chequers", and the Chancellor of the Exchequer controls UK finances). London is divided into 32 'Boroughs', which, including the 'hidden' Borough of the Masonic-controlled international banking district financial-economic nerve center known as the "Square Mile", concealed within the few miles of prime real estate known as "The City" - makes 33, the number of degrees in Scottish Rite Masonry, the most widespread Rite. Ergo, a coded declaration that the Masons Rule The World. As "on the square" was originally a popular slang term for 'honestly' - definitely not a quality that can be applied to the legalized thievery of global commerce - we have in the subversion of this phrase a classic example of Satanic Reversal. It is not by coincidence that a zodiacal circle with a black sun at the center is found at the entrance to a financial building in the Square Mile opposite St. Paul's Cathedral.
Near to Mark Mason's Hall in Great Queen Street, London WC2, is Queen Square, located adjacent to Russell Square, near the British Museum, where John Dee's wax pentacle and crystal shew-glass is kept. Aleister Crowley and Leah Hirsig lived in a hotel in Russell Square after WWI, accommodation at that time being difficult to find, and found more permanent living quarters at 31 Wellington Square, after inspiration told Crowley to try a house which had the number of the Secret Key to Liber AL. Members of the Second, or Inner Order of the original Isis-Urania Temple of the Hermetic Students of the Golden Dawn met in rooms at 26 Oakley Square near Euston Station during 1894-96. A notorious location for paedophile activities is an apartment block called Dolphin Square in Pimlico, the biggest block of flats in Europe and the London residence of many MPs. It has been nicknamed "Pimp-lico" because of the widespread use of rent boys, some underage, who are regularly seen wandering its darkened labyrinthine corridors in a daze, asking for directions.
Thus, the square is a prime symbol of Masonic Sorcery. The town, village, or market square was not only the place of important announcements and ceremonies, but a place of sex (fairs) and death (executions), the two main archetypal principles towards which the majority of Masonic-Illuminati rituals are orientated. This dualistic-function is mirrored in other contexts: to "square the bill" means to settle, pay in full, make good; whereas to "square a person" means to bribe, suborn, corrupt, or buy off. These two meanings of a 'square deal' are symbolised singly by the 'square knot', another term for a reef knot, consisting of two loops passing symmetrically through each other. The double square or eight-pointed star, with one square on top of the other symbolises control of all that is just and unjust, the positive and negative, and can be found depicted in the lobby at the heart of the British Parliament, as well as on the insignia of many police forces, where it surrounds their badge. This is also represented in other ways: to "square up to" is to take an attitude of offence and defence, as in a boxer; and the 'square-dance' is an old folk-dance done by a group of couples in a square formation. Both of these practices are the surviving remnants of much earlier, prehistoric magical rituals, whose details are now long-forgotten.
An ancient mind-control ritual which is both performed and understood today is found in the practice of 'square-bashing', the military parade-ground drill, a regimented, uniformly choreographed band of men thinking and acting as a single unit, and directed by the orders of one leader, as in the beehive ruled by the Queen Bee. One could also mention 'square eyes' - the popular cartoon depiction of the result of watching too much television and becoming hypnotized by its content (prolonged TV-watching actually causes brain damage). This is a widespread Masonic-Illuminati mind-control tactic deployed in the New World Order/One World Government takeover, that is, paradoxically, eagerly sought and welcomed by its victims. The MI control the black mass media. When you are watching television you are seeing the world as THEY want you to see it.
This New World Order is not a modern invention of the President Bushs, who have both used the term in their speeches - it was described exoterically by Brotherhood insider/propagandist H.G. Wells in his 1940 book The New World Order, and esoterically in the novels of Freemason-Rosicrucian and British Intelligence agent Edward Bulwer-Lytton, especially his 1871 work The Coming Race. Occult Bureau member Aldous Huxley combined both approaches in his manual Brave New World [Order]. In a purely Masonic context, the square is used in mathematics and geometry: square inch, yard, mile etc., square root, and most importantly, in 'squaring the circle' (quadrature of the circle) - finding a square of the same area as a circle - which for hundreds of years was attempted by Euclidian means (i.e. with straight-edge and compass, Masonic tools) until in 1882 it was proved impossible, and the phrase came to mean any impossible task; that is, one attempted using normal, mundane logic and reason. Amongst esoteric initiates, 'squaring the circle' came to refer to the successful accomplishment of the Great Work, which is achieved by unlogical means of unreason. Afterwards, the adept goes "back to square one", returning to the original position with himself, the 'problem' etc., outwardly unchanged, but inwardly transformed into a higher, more advanced level.
Enclosed London Squares of terraced houses were originally an invention of the Georgian aristocracy, who desired to live together near to each other, for social and other reasons. It was said that they "lived in Squares and loved in Triangles". These Squares also have their more malevolent aspects (as in Berkeley Square, which we shall soon examine, and the Masonically-significant Mitre Square, where the body of Catherine Eddowes, the fourth victim of Jack the Ripper, was found in 1888 (the same year the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn was officially founded, when their charter arrived from Nüremberg on the 1st March). Stephen Knight's, Jack The Ripper: The Final Solution claims that Eddowes' murder was supposed to be the last (she was mistaken for Mary Ann Kelly Kelly, as Eddowes had lived for the past seven years with a John Kelly, and sometimes called herself Mary Ann Kelly), the climax of a Masonic ritual to reassert Masonic power and domination, and was consequently the most overly Masonic, her body placed in the darkest corner of Mitre Square. It was the only Ripper murder of the five to be committed in the City of London itself (later to become the Masonic-controlled Square Mile), i.e. inside a secret 'Masonic Square within the Square'. (As an open space in a town, etc., a Square is usually, but not necessarily of that shape, along with its surrounding buildings - as in a 'quadrangle', a four-sided open-topped court or yard enclosed by a educational building, which is usually rectangular, and signifies the Illuminati 'Invisible College').
Mitre Square had strong Masonic significance, as it is one of the most Masonic of all places in London, except for the great hall of the Grand Lodge itself. The Mitre and Square are the basic tools of the Freemason, the implements used by the original stonemasons, and they play a large part in Masonic ritual and allegory (the tall mitre hat worn by bishops and magicians comes from this). Mitre Square had three entrances (one of which led to Mitre Street), and in Freemasonry three is the perfect number, and Masonic killings are traditionally carried out by three Masons, in memory of the slaying of Hiram Abif (three years after Kelly's death, in 1891, the Clarence and Avondale Lodge, named after Prince Eddy, was established at the Masonic Hall at Leytonstone, close to where Kelly was buried). Mitre Square first appeared on the Ordnance Survey map of 1840, being named after the Mitre Tavern, an important meeting place for Masons in the 18th and 19th Centuries. In 1530 Mitre Square was the scene of a murder that in many respects parallelled the mythical murder of Hiram Abif, the central figure of so much of Masonry's allegory. Like the murder of Hiram, it took place on hallowed ground, for in the 16th Century Mitre Square was the site of the Priory of the Holy Trinity. A woman was in the Priory praying at the high altar, just like Hiram in Solomon's Temple before his murder, when she was set upon by a mad monk, who killed her and later killed himself, by plunging the knife into his own heart. the scene of the murder, the victim at prayer and the subsequent violent death of the killer all correspond to the mythical incident which is the sacred core of Freemasonic tradition.
Two and a half centuries later Mitre Square became the meeting place of Masons belonging to Hiram's Lodge, the Union Lodge, and the Lodge of Joppa at the Mitre Tavern (the three apprentice masons who had slain Hiram Abif were found hiding near the coast at Joppa). Only the most important Lodges met at Mitre Square, yet the emtire area was a hive of Masonic activity. A few yards away, the Tailor's Arms in Mitre Street was the rendezvous of the Lodge of Judah. There are points of contact of Masonic significance which links the savage murder of Eddowes with the killing of the nun in 1530 and the mythical killing of Hiram. In both actual cases it was a woman who fell victim to an apparently insane killer, and in both cases the victim was butchered with a knife. John Francis Brewer wrote a book called The Curse Upon Mitre Square A.D. 1530-1888 (Simpkin Marshall, 1888), which may contain further evidence of tessellated connections.
A piece of Eddowes' apron (a Masonic item), soaked in blood, had been carefully cut off her and placed in the passageway of Wentworth Dwellings in Goulston Street, about ten minutes walk away from Mitre Square (Goulston Street = Street of heavy (physical) Ghouls. A ghoul traditionally feeds on human flesh). Above the apron-cloth, on the wall of the passageway, was the infamous neatly chalked, three-line "Juwes" message:
The Juwes are not the
men that will be blamed
for nothing.
This was the only real clue left by the Ripper, which Freemason Sir Charles Warren hurried to and washed off, not even allowing any photographs to be taken of it, and thus assisting in the cover-up (along with others like Freemason Robert Cecil Salisbury, Prime Minister and Foreign secretary at the time). The three "J-U-W-E-S" (Jubelo, Jubela and Jubelum) killed the Grand Master Hiram Abif, who was in charge of building Solomon's Temple. Having murdered him, the apprentices fled, but were discovered and they themselves murdered. The Biblical Solomon ordered them to be killed with "due ceremony and formal ritual". The wording is that: "Let the breast be torn open and the heart and vitals be taken from thence and thrown over the left shoulder". The intestines of Eddowes were pulled out and placed over her right shoulder. (Why it was the left and not the right shoulder may be due to a Satanic Reversal). A triangular flap of skin had been "reflected" from each cheek of Eddowes also. The sacred sign of Masonry is two triangles, which represent the altar top of the Holy Royal Arch.
In a bizarre twist, Eddowes - the only victim innocent of blackmail and therefore wrongly slain - had actually been held in custody at the Commercial Street police station of the City a few hours before her death. She had been found drunk lying in the street at 8.30 pm on Saturday, the previous night. Around 12.30 am on Sunday, she was let out and walked straight towards Mitre Square, where she met 'Jack'. Could the Masons, believing her to be Kelly, have followed her, drugged her drink, so her unconscious body was taken to the police station, where she was hypnotized and mind-controlled into becoming a willing sacrifice? No, of course not. Such things never happen do they?
PORTALS FOR THE ASKING
So what has this got to do with Cagliostro and his Berkeley Square lair? For an explanation we return to the Downardian premise, the possibilities of Masonic Magnetic Sorcery. It is no coincidence that the Aye (or Eye) Brook runs underground at the foot of Hay Hill into Berkeley Street, that leads one into Berkeley Square itself.
The "As Above, So Below" condensing into axiom contained in the Emerald Tablet of Hermes of the essential Hermetic doctrine that we are Starchildren, dates back to ancient Egypt or before, and is also found in the Lord's Prayer: "Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven". In Genesis 1:26 there is the statement: "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness..." which suggests that humans were created by a non-human God or Gods, and possess god-like qualities, which further evidences the Hermetic assertion. The universe is an extension of yourself, made of the same elements. All reality is subjective. You are the universe. Everything is connected to everything else. When the microcosm-man formulates his intent properly, it functions "as if" it is true. If he then casts his intent properly, it becomes magically effective in the macrocosm-cosmic reality and occurs "as now" in the universe; firstly as coincidences, or if they multiply and intensify, as miracles. God is Man, or rather, the below-singular becomes the above-all.
It is said that Illuminati initiates such as Cagliostro and others unhinged from the linear horizontal of earth and embracing the zap-flash vertical from heaven have mastered this formula and are therefore in possession of the keys to the manipulation of space and time, and are using them to forge links to other dimensions. This is done by the opening of Portals. Charles Fort and others have documented the perplexing cases of people suddenly disappearing or reappearing. Where do they go or come from? The mechanics of an interdimensional portal can be understood by this analogy: you have a bucket of water - how do you get from the top to the bottom without getting wet? By a whirlpool, diving straight through the center of the cyclone. Everything is made of atoms, which are mostly empty space. Atoms are spinning all the time, so is the Earth and the Universe. Smaller stars either shrink or explode, collapsing into what is known as either a White Dwarf or Pulsar. If, however, the shrunken, super-dense core of a larger star is double the mass of our Sun, the shrinking process continues unceasingly, the nuclear force is overcome by the force of gravity, and total catastrophic condensation results. Nothing is left of the star except a 'Black Hole' - a dark cavity into which everything in its neighbourhood is sucked by the force of gravity and swallowed up. Where it all goes is anyone's guess. It may be crushed and totally obliterated, if such a thing is possible, or it may leave our universe altogether, to reappear in another universe, or perhaps it will reappear in our own universe, in another place and time.
The Milky Way is a spiral galaxy. DNA is coiled, as is the sleeping Kundalini, and one is tempted to explain the prehistoric spiral and labyrinth designs carved into the stones of ancient ritual sites as artistic depictions of the spiral whorl of energy generated which allowed primitive man contact with other dimensions, which imparted knowledge of metallurgy, plants etc., vital to mankind's continued survival, as in cave art - sympathetic magic to make the whirling portal more likely to manifest at the site during the rite. Here note that in Biblical times the Lord answers Job out of a whirlwind (Job 38:1); Elijah is taken up to heaven in a whirlwind (2 Kings 2:1); and the Lord goes forth in a whirlwind to manifest his judgement (Jeremiah 23:19; 30:23). In medieval demonology it was believed that demons, when thrown together in great multitudes, excited whirlwinds in the air and whirlpools or tempests in the waters.
I don't think actual physical machinery is involved in space-time dimensional travel, as described in the infamous Montauk books authored by Peter Moon, Preston B. Nichols et al published by Sky Books. It would be a purely internal process, the genuine occult - that goes on secretly inside one's mind, rather than the sham occult of paraphernalia that goes on outside ourselves; this is the initiated meaning of the word, from the Latin occultus ('hidden', 'concealed', 'recondite'). This would probably entail psychedelic drugs, and/or the pineal gland (situated in the middle of the forehead) "Opening the Third Eye" by DMT production. (Adult DMT trips tend to be very similar to the alien abduction experience. Many report the sense of being taken up into the air to another place, a domed hall, another dimension).
Did Cagliostro, perhaps in league with other Illuminati, practise this interdimensional magic, informed by Agrippa and assisted by sex and possibly psychedelic drugs (the white-flecked cap of Fly Agaric, Amanita muscaria, is symbolic of the stars in the night sky, or red dawn of unveiling, a bridge between heaven and earth, an extraterrestrial artefact come to Earth, in the earth, spreading its roots, spreading its knowledge. This constellation - the white particles being the remains of the volva which adhere to the cap - is a hint given to humanity from the aliens), to open such a portal at 50 Berkeley Square? And if so, has it been sealed, or is it still operational and in use by the Illuminated Ones? Turning to the house number, according to Rollo Ahmed's The Black Art, Cagliostro's treatment for rejuvenation was a complicated one, which had to begin on attaining fifty years of age. Here we have the Key: 50, that number of ancient occult significance.
In Sumer the Anunnaki were anonymous as individuals and only ever spoken of as "the fifty great gods", with the emphasis on their number. They were literally restricted to the level of being a numerological cipher. In Greek mythology there were fifty Argonauts, various fifty-headed and fifty-armed monsters, fifty sons of Orion, fifty heads of the Hydra, fifty heads of the dog Cerberus, fifty heads of Typhon and so on. (The fiftyish aspect of Orion is due to the constellation of Orion being the visible companion of Sirius, and as such was a substitute and representative of the invisible companion, Sirius B, which takes fifty years to orbit Sirius A. See Robert Temple's The Sirius Mystery). When consulting the I Ching, the diviner starts with 50 stalks of the Yarrow plant. The famous series of improving and educational game-cards known as "Mantegna's Tarocchi", whose origin is a mystery, is made up of fifty figures.
By NAEQ6, 50 = SELF = I AM ALL. This relates to the Masonic Three Degrees (Pure Craft or Blue Masonry consists of three degrees only); the Thelemic Three Grades (the original OTO is quasi-Masonic) mentioned in Liber AL; and the Wiccan Three Degrees (based on Masonic-OTO rituals) - the three progressive stages of development, which are three different selves, leading to the culmination of the Great Work, the transmutation of lead into gold: the knowledge of and conversation with one's True Self (or Soul). 3×50 = 150, which is the actual number of: THREE GRADES, also: SECRET FEW, and is also the number of: ILLUMINATI. 150 is also the number of: ANNA SPRENGEL, the enigmatic Rosicrucian adept and head of the Lichte Liebe Leben Tempel in Nüremberg, who were the authors of the cipher documents that led to the formation of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn in England. Although some claim she was a mythical figure 'invented' by the heads of the Dawn to add an ancient gravitas to their organization - perhaps she was a real personage, the original link between the Golden Dawn and the Secret Chiefs. The extraterrestrial source of Illuminati wisdom is the constellation of Sirius, and Sirius B takes 50 years to orbit Sirius A. 50 also occurs in many contexts in ancient mythology, Robert Temple devotes a whole chapter to this 'Sacred Fifty' tradition in The Sirius Mystery. Old Testament law set forth by God Himself (Leviticus 25) demanded that every 50th year be the Jubilee year, when people - including slaves and prisoners - were set free.
We may posit an Illuminati Grand Triad Working here, of universal implications, with the 3×50 Selves being successive related Degrees or stages of Satanic strategy (ILLUMINATI = THE COMPANY = SIX SIX SIX) consisting of:
1. The first publication in 1616 of the third and final official Rosicrucian manifesto, whose title translates as The Chemical Wedding of Christian Rosencreutz. This trio of works heralded and urged a general World Reformation-Revolution.
2. Fifty years later came the Satanic Great Fire of London in 1666. The date is significantly solar-phallic-Satanic, 1 being the Phallus and 666 our Father Sun. Also 1 is the thousand year reign of 666 Satan, as opposed to the Gospel prophecy that Christ was to return within the lifetime of one or more of his disciples to reign on Earth for a thousand years. A classic Satanic Reversal. When '1000' is used in the Bible, it is a synonym, or symbol, for 'completeness'. Similarly, "months" refer to "moons". Thus the Great Fire signifies the successfull conjuration of Satan and establishiment of the New Age of Masonic Gnostic Luciferianism. Fires often spontaneously break out during poltergeist activity, demons drawing upon the raw elemental energy released to enable their manifestation in the world. A grand display of Luciferian-Illuminati eternal flame of enlightenment. London itself became an alchemical furnace or witches cauldron. At least one documented weirdness occurred during this auspicious year. Starting on the morning of 27 December 1666, John Frederick Schweitzer, known as Helvetius, one of the most violent adversaries of alchemy, was visited three times at his house by a mysterious stranger, of honest and grave countenance, authoritative aura, and dressed simply like that of a Mennonite. Having asked whether Helvetius believed in the Philosophers Stone (to which the famous doctor answered negatively), the stranger opened a little ivory box, in which the Stone resided. Eventually, he gave Helvetius a small piece of the Stone, which he used to transmute lead into gold. This was verified by Spinoza and the goldsmith Brechtel, minter of the Duke of Orange.
Satan-Lucifer dwells in the solar flames and is the Light Bringer - his Fires consumed most of the city and allowed the Luciferic 'Light' of Masonry to take hold, in the form of high-level Freemason Sir Christopher Wren and others, who were given the task of rebuilding the charred and broken London, placing strategic monuments, buildings and other structures, then naming them significantly on the newly built significant alignments, to their secret purpose of Masonic Symbol Science which still exist today, such as St. Paul's Cathedral (built upon a much earlier Pagan site), which was itself destroyed in the Great Fire along with the surrounding area. St. Paul is London's patron saint. His dagger is depicted in London's coat of arms. This is why St. Paul's Cathedral is so important, the first Freemason Lodge meeting nearby. Replicas, with its massive dome, an ancient symbol for the Illuminati Mother Goddess, stand in Paris and Washington DC. One is called the Pantheon and the other is the Congress Building on Capitol Hill (named after Capitoline Hill, a sacred mound of the Babylonian Brotherhood in ancient Rome).
3. Fifty years later in 1716, a Freemasonic lodge were meeting near St. Paul's Cathedral at the Goose and Gridiron tavern just off St. Paul's Churchyard and near to Mitre Court. At the meetings they were planning to bring together the various Masonic lodges under one central organization, which was officially accomplished and sealed the next year, when this lodge and others held the first and founding meeting of the Grand Lodge (now the United Grand Lodge of England) at the tavern, on the 24th June 1717. This momentous event had to wait until that date for Qabalistic reasons. The 17th Tarot Trump is 'The Star' (Sirius), and old Tarot decks often show 8 stars on this card, hence 1717 is Sirius B (17--) and Sirius C (--17) orbiting Sirius A (1-7). The innermost mirror (-71-) reduces to 8, the numeric-pictorial symbol of renewal and rebirth, baptism and initiation, hope and fulfilment, infinity and eternity. Thus it is the Central Star, True Will, Hidden God, whose Knowledge and Conversation brings insight into possibilities, widening of physical and mental horizons, imagination linked to the powers of the unconscious - to transform.
The 24th June is St. John the Baptist's Day, a figure of prime importance in the Priory of Sion-Royal Bloodline mythos as the true Son of God. The herb St. John's Wort blossoms on St. John's Day, and was believed to possess magical properties. The red spots on this herb are said to appear on 29th August, the day on which St. John the Baptist was beheaded, and here may also symbolize the earlier evocation by the Illuminati of the Great Fire demons. The Great Candlestick (Candelabrum ingens) was also dedicated to St. John who was a "burning and shining light" (Illuminatus). Another John figurehead for the Illuminati is the author of the Biblical Book of Revelation, as he was a prophetic seer who on the island of Patmos in the 2nd Century AD was given a vision from God of the New Jerusalem as a holy city coming down from heaven (See Revelation 21:2), pictured as a cube with twelve gates, each bearing the name of one of the twelve tribes of Israel (the 13 Illuminati bloodlines, because Joseph's was split into two tribes, Ephraim and Manasseh). This is of course a metaphor for the divine wisdom of Sirius being transmitted in the form of a UFO or other mask to Illuminati initiates on Earth, who will use this knowledge to build and maintain the New World Order kingdom.
As Mackay and others have shown, around this time the phrase "QUOZ" sprang up suddenly in London, no one knows exactly where, which became the favourite phrase of the city, its use pervading the population to such an extraordinary degree that this odd word soon acquired an almost boundless meaning. QUOZ = 51 = SAY NAY = SINK = ISLAND. Britain is of course an island, so was this an unconscious desire (perhaps implanted by Masonic Sorcery) entertained by the capitol city's inhabitants to refuse to be ruled and thus destroy the country? Note how the phrase contains both the Latin word Quo as in 'Status Quo', the existing conformist order; and Oz, the Hebrew word for 'Divine Strength'. This could imply the coming of a new rule from on high - Sirius. Many years later Crowley entitled his Thelemic statement of the rights of mankind, which was aimed at a popular audience: "Liber OZ".
The fourth stage may have began around fifty years later in 1767, with the activities of James Aitken (aka: John the Painter), the Scottish revolutionary, called both "the first terrorist and most wanted man in Britain", who in the late 18th Century tried to burn down the English naval port towns of Portsmouth and Bristol. If he had been successful the American War of Independence (Revolution) being fought at the time would almost certainly have ended much earlier, in 1777, with an American victory. Related to this perhaps is the mysterious fire which caused extensive damage to the British Queen's Windsor Castle in 1992.
We posit that Count Cagliostro's former house at 50 Berkeley Square is an integral part of this secret sacred science (as are other London sites): The charming network of narrow streets and alleys of Berkeley Square (named for Berkeley House, which stood on the South side from 1664 to 1733, when it was replaced by Devonshire House), Charles Street, Queen Street and Curzon Street was laid out in 1735 on the site of the May Fair that gave the area its name. There are plague pits (mass graves for victims of the plague) in this area of London, and this is an apt part of the history of 50 Berkeley Square. The garden in the centre of Berkeley Square is said to be haunted by the ghost of Lord Clive, who committed suicide in his home at No.45 in 1744; and Horace Walpole, the father of the Gothic romance novel, lived in a small house on the East side of Berkeley Square during the last years of his life, adding his own peculiar aura to the place - but it is the Square's No.50, this plain Georgian house in West London, that is infused with the most intense supernatural weirdness, and it certainly deserves its reputation, cemented in Victorian times, as being the most haunted house in London.
It was considered a must-see tourist attraction for the other side-obsessed Victorians. Prime Minister George Canning died in the house in 1827, and it is reputedly haunted by a number of lesser ghosts, including a kilt-wearing little girl, tortured or frightened to death in the nursery by a sadistic servant; and a young woman named Adeline, who died accidentally by falling off a window ledge whilst trying to hide from her lecherous uncle; although these two accounts may be folkloric juggling of the same event - as may be the reports during the 1870s of the violent poltergeist phenomena coming from the locked and empty house including strange lights that flashed in the windows, loud noises, disembodied screams, ringing of bells, windows opening with a crash which were heard by neighbours; which could be folkoric embellishments of the groans and cries of the insane brother of a Mr. Dupre, that were often heard at the time in neighbouring houses. The insane man was so violent that he had to be fed through a special opening in the door of the room on the uppermost storey in which he was confined.
The main entity dwelling in the house resides in this "Haunted Room", as it came to be known, and first seems to have first appeared at the end of the 18th Century. It has been described as a horrific, unspeakable fiend. It could be the unquiet and revengeful spirit of the mad lunatic Dupre. Yet in 1859, we read of a Mr. Myers, who took a lease on the property in preparation for his forthcoming marriage. After he was jilted be became a weird recluse. spending the rest of his life at the top of the house, only opening his door to receive food from his manservant. A newly-arrived maidservant was put into the Haunted Room on the second floor, who awoke screaming in the night and was found lying in the middle of the floor, her eyes staring hideously. She died the following day at St. George's Hospital, hopelessly mad, without describing what exactly she had seen except that it was "just horrible..."
By now 50 Berkeley Square was notorious, and various upper-class gentlemen dared to spend a night alone in the Haunted Room and confront the spectre, including a Captain Raymond, Captain B., Captain Kentfield, and Sir Robert Warboys, who, armed with a pistol, was found around 2 am, dead, his face contorted with the sheer agony of terror. In 1872 Lord Lyttleton spent a night in the room and lived to tell the tale. This time he was more heavily armed with two blunderbusses loaded with buckshot and silver sixpences, which he thought would combat any evil influences. During the night he fired at something that leapt at him in the darkness, saying later that he was aware of a vague shape crashing to the floor but upon investigation could find nothing. Again, these may be different distorted accounts of a single event. Then on Christmas Eve, 1887, two penniless sailors, Robert Martin and Edward Blunden, broke into the empty house to sleep off a night's merrymaking. They chose the Haunted Room at the top of the house to spend the night, during which they were disturbed by the sound of muffled footsteps mounting the stairs then a horrific "something" entering the room, a hideous, shapeless, oozing white mass of a thing whose grotesque face, with a gaping mouth, they could not determine was animal or human. Its arms ended with outstretched, horny claws and it advanced towards them. Martin fled in panic to the safety of outside, straight into the arms of a passing policeman, but Blunden was trapped in the room with the thing. Backing away in a blind terror, he fell through a window, his body impaling itself on a spiked railing bordering the property at the front of the house, with the characteristic twisted face and bulging, staring eyes of the house's victims. He died shortly afterwards.
By the end of the 19th Century, as a result of its dreadful reputation, no tenant could be found who was willing to take on the lease of the house, and for many years it remained completely empty, yet the sinister reputation of the Haunted Room, and the cases of misfortune, all ending in death, madness, or both as a result of sleeping, or trying to sleep in it, remained. There were long discussions and eyewitness accounts concerning the "many strange stories" of the house and its hauntings in the London journals Notes and Queries and Mayfair. Regard the following account of 50 Berkeley Square and its Haunted Room, published in the Mayfair of May 10th, 1879, which is pure H.P. Lovecraft:
The very party walls of the house, when touched are found saturated with electric horror. It is uninhabited, save by an elderly man and woman who act as caretakers; but even these have no access to the room. That is kept locked, the key being in the hands of a mysterious and seemingly nameless person, who comes to the house every six months, locks up the elderly couple in the basement, and then unlocks the room and occupies himself in it for hours.
In more modern times the antiquarian booksellers Maggs Bros have occupied the house for over fifty years, the proprietor claiming that he himself had never seen anything, yet an employee of the firm, Julian Wilson, claims to have seen a column of brown mist moving quickly across the accounts department, which now occupies the Haunted Room, one morning in 2001. That same year a cleaner preparing the house for a party felt an overwhelming sensation that someone or something was standing behind her. Turning around she found that the room was empty; and a man walking up the stairs was shocked when his glasses were snatched from his hand and flung to the ground. Apparently, it is company policy for the firm who now occupies the building that the last two employees leave together - no-one is to be left inside there alone. Inside, on the ground floor, is a notice in a frame attached to the wall, which was written by the police around 1950, that says the top floor of the building (the one so violently haunted) was not to be used for anything, even storage, as the premises were considered 'unsafe'. It is still there as it hasn't been revoked.
The common theme we can discern from all accounts is of a room haunted by a terrifying, unnamed 'something' (a "Raw Head and Bloody Bones" type of entity, either black or white, hideous, shapeless and slimy, which emits "gruesome slopping noises"), which causes anyone who witnesses it to drop dead or go mad. None of the victims describe the thing in the first person. The maid's account is secondhand. Nos. 53 and 44 Berkeley Square are also said to be haunted.
The Berkeley Square enigma has fascinated artists, and has appeared in myriad forms. M.R. James references it in his horror tale A School Story, and it is said that Sir Edward Bulwer-Lytton based his The Haunted and the Haunters upon it. Rhoda Broughton's beautiful tale The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But the Truth, first published in 1873, is based closely on the 'facts' of the 50 Berkeley Square case. John L. Balderston, the former journalist who was on hand at the opening of King Tutankhamen's tomb in 1925, and who later conceived the original form which was to become Universal Studios' Dracula, the sequel Dracula's Daughter and Frankenstein (although he is uncredited), was given full screenplay credit for The Mummy, which he adapted from a story named Cagliostro, about the 18th Century Mystery Man. Balderston changed the Count into a living Egyptian Mummy, unearthed during an archaeological expedition, who searches for and finds his lost love's reincarnated spirit. After this Balderston co-wrote with Sonya Levien the screenplay for Universal's Berkeley Square, a strange story of a man (Peter Standish, played by Leslie Howard) transported back in time, where he meets and falls in love with one of his ancestors. The Ghosts of Berkeley Square is a 1947 black and white British comedy adapted from the novel No Nightingales by S.J. Simon and Caryl Brahms. The plot is about the ghosts of two 18th Century military men (Morely and Aylmer) in the service of Queen Anne, who are doomed to haunt a mansion for eternity unless it can be visited by royalty. All efforts to ensure a visit fail, but when the mansion is bombed in an air-raid and their hopes are lost forever, Queen Mary visits the site while inspecting recent war damage. Busby Berkeley directed the 1948 American MGM/Loew film Take Me Out to the Ball Game, co-written by and starring Gene Kelly. The lyrics in the closing number, a reprise of Strictly USA, end with: "Like the annual Elk's convention / Like masonic halls or fireman's balls / Like honeymooning at Niagara Falls / They're really here to stay / Cause it's strictly USA".
The phrase: "I hide in songs" is part of the ancient Celtic Bardic tradition, and there is an old English folk song called A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square, of which the melody at least dates back to 1915 or before, and has since been covered by many artists including Vera Lynn, Nat King Cole and others. I wrote to the folk song archivers at Cecil Sharp House to find the original lyrics and their author and date, and received no reply, but a search on the Internet gave this early version, by an Eric Maschwitz, which gives some interesting clues when examined, such as:
When true lovers meet in Mayfair,
So the legends tell,
Song birds sing,
Winter turns to spring,
Ev'ry winding street in Mayfair falls beneath the spell.
I know such enchantment can be,
'Cause it happened one ev'ning to me.
Berkeley Square is located in London's exclusive Mayfair district, and in old England the May Fair was a major event; a mass meeting place of the many diverse classes and type of people from all counties; a place where deals were done, and strangers met to fornicate and marry. A magical place of chance possibilities. The "winding" streets of Mayfair recalls the Masonic legend of the winding stair as taught in the degree of Fellow Craft. This is the Second Degree, and a person at this grade is a candidate for the symbolical assassination, euresis, autopsy, coffin resurrection of the Third Degree. The number of the winding steps are "odd". ODD = 19 = SHOW = WAY, and are connected to the "three symbolical steps" which symbolically lead from this life to the source of all knowledge. The steps are taken from the darkness to a place of light, either figuratively or really over a coffin, the symbol of death, to teach symbolically, the passage from darkness and ignorance of this life through death to the rebirth in the light and knowledge of eternal life. This from the earliest times was the true symbolism of the step. According to the Masons, the winding stairs of the Temple of Solomon begins at the porch and winds to a level purified by the Divine Presence (Shekinah) and dominated by the Divine Strength (Oz). This all equates with the numerous stories of childhood alien encounter experiences which begin at the bottom of the stairs of the parents house, before the person is taken up onboard a UFO. The symbolic death of the normal person to be reborn as a Contactee on the UFO. The "winding" stairs are synonymous with the spiral whorl of the black hole portal.

Was the songwriter an initiate? Crowley spent ten days in the Ritz Hotel performing sex magic with a beautiful, rich and titled woman he had fascinated by gazing into the reflection of her eyes framed in the window of Fortnum and Mason, whose marriage broke up shortly afterwards. The spelling of Berk'ley suggests Berk Ley, in line with ancient British Ley Lines, or straight paths of a magical significance linking ritual sites, both mundanely and magically. The nightingale is renowned for its tireless singing all day and night, and symbolises the ever-awake always alert All-Seeing-Eye. The nightingale returns to invade Britain annually in the Spring, and in the 7th Century AD was thought to symbolise Christ's resurrection.
There is a curious literary tradition in England surrounding the nightingale, that the bird sings with its breast held against a thorn. An early reference to this is found in Thomas Lodge's 1589 poem Scillaes Metamorphosis, Shakespeare mentions the practice in The Rape of Lucrece (1594), and the theme is found in other later 16th Century romantic and metaphysical poetry - usually a melancholy weeping female is regretting her lost virginity or some other calamity, who stays up all night weeping, leaning on a thorn to maintain wakefulness so she can continue experiencing her deep woe and grief. Her weeping is described as a song and is compared to the nightingale, which some early writers found sad and melancholic. This is probably an allusion to the Inspired Melancholy Trance of Night, a nocturnal gnosis tradition of the period, exemplified in text by Agrippa in De occulta, in image by Albrecht Dürer's famous engraving Melencolia I, and in verse by Chapman's Shadow of Night. Its votaries included the "School of Night" mentioned by Shakespeare, a semi-secret English society (see Frances A. Yates', The Occult Philosophy in the Elizabethan Age).
In the songs of the troubadours a frequent theme is lovemaking beneath a thorn, which tends to signify some form of lament or melancholy, such as the shortness of life, which is countered as the birds sing. The impaled nightingale motif enters European literature as a developed legend, most probably from Iran through French literature. It can be traced back to Persian-Iranian poetry, where the piercing of the nightingale by a rose-thorn is a very prominent device. For example, Hafiz in Divan, XIV, writes how the nightingale's drops of his heart's blood nourishes the red rose, until a wind arrives, and catching at the boughs in envious mood, makes a hundred thorns about his heart entwined. Later the nightingale orders all evil to be turned away from the Rose, and sings to the Rose all men's thanks, as it blossoms "and hope springs up in every joyless heart". Izaak Walton said that the bird "breathes such sweet lowd music out of her little instrumentall throat that it might make mankind to think miracles are not ceased".
This may have been later adopted into Rosicrucian lore, which involves the divine reforming rose and the century, the nightingale 'singing' or transmitting these qualities in the Rosicrucian-Masonic Berkeley Square. Lydgate linked the rose and Christ's passion in A Song of the Nightingale, which also fits neatly into Rosicrucianism. Ancient legends claim that the Libyan Thorn was the plant from which the Saviour's crown was made, and is called Christ's Thorn. In France and England this reputation was given to the Whitethorn or Hawthorn (the latter killed vampires also) and Herbalists maintain that the Hawthorn is effective as a heart tonic. Recent scientific investigations tend to support this belief.
According to The Ritual of Egyptian Masonry, the Seal of Count Cagliostro symbolises "renewal through a wound"; but when Cagliostro was questioned by a Catholic tribunal he gave a very Christian explanation of this and saved his life. The arrow impaling a serpent can be interpreted in many ways. Edward A. Armstrong in The Folklore of Birds, mentions a painting in a temple at Daulis showing a priestess in a trance, with the laurel leaf by which she induced the ecstasy protruding from her mouth, possibly part of the worship of Adonis at the Vernal Equinox, in which flute-playing was prominent, maybe in imitation of birdsong. Note that Daulis was where the nightingale was given its now superseded name Daulis luscinia, and may have been the centre of a bird cult. Even in recent times an archaic Spring festival was celebrated there. This fertility ritual may also have been resurrected in a Masonic form in Berkeley Square.
The moon that lingered over London town
Poor puzzled moon, he wore a frown
How could he know we two were so in love
The whole darn world seemed upside down.
This verse seems to refer to a sex-magical alchemical Sacred Marriage rite, a giddy reversal of roles where the man becomes a moon and the woman a sun, before they finally unite as one. This is echoed in the first line of the next verse: "The streets of town were paved with stars", hinting at the union of microcosm with macrocosm, of earth and heaven. Later there is an insertion of a modern lyrical reference:
Our homeward step was just as light
As the tap-dancing feet of [Fred] Astaire
And like an echo far away,
A nightingale sang in Berk'ley Square.
The "homeward step" of this last verse refers to the Mystery of the Stairs Between Worlds which was sung in the first verse. The circle never ends. Read my explanation of this verse again. To finish our look at the connections to this song, know that there is a 1979 film written by Guy Elmes and directed by Ralph Thomas entitled A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square (aka: The Big Scam, The Biggest Bank Robbery, and The Mayfair Bank Caper). It is set in Mayfair and the plot concerns Pinky (played by Richard Jordan), who is released from prison and has decided to go straight from now on, but accidentally gets himself a job as a maintenance man at a large bank. The film is full of great British character actors and features an excellent use of outdoor scenes, mainly of London, but not the usual recognisable holiday brochure zones. One could read all sorts of hidden symbolism into this film, 'Pinky' being an Illuminati-Communist agent plotting to overthrow the Capitalist boss class, but, having not seen the actual film, I will refrain from further comment, aside from it may contain some interesting clues.
Pronounced phonetically, 50 becomes FIF TEE or FIF TI. Interestingly, TEE = 74 and TI = 47, the reverse of that number, which is always a good sign in NAEQ6 that one is onto something important. Both numbers add to 11, the Thelemic Number, of Infinity, mentioned by Nuit in Liber AL. Crowley called 11 the number symbolising "energy tending to change", i.e: transmuting from one dimension to another.
TEE = 74 = IS WOMAN = OF KEY = OF A CHILD = LOVE WILL = BOOK OF LAW. What meaneth this? Points to the Scarlet Woman as a gateway, a sexual rite. How is this to be performed? Further analysis of the number points to an alternating sensory overload and sensory deprivation gnosis: 74 = GIVE ALL = EXALT = A FEAST; Also: SHALL DENY = DOUBT. By performing rites which bring one to the peak of excitement and the depths of silence, something happens, they would presumably merge to form a higher, transcendent state.
TI = 47 = EGG = AMN HO. "It's All in the Egg".
50 may also be pronounced as the: "Fifth T", which relates to a bizarre series of dreams I had several years ago, involving the Typhonian OTO, who were searching (for some magical reason), for the actual center-point location of Britain, the 'T' or Tau Cross in the middle of 'oTo' and 'briTain' symbolising the "uniting of earth and heaven". The T-shaped 'tau' cross was the actual shape of the cross upon which Jesus was crucified. The 'tau' was the Mark of Yahweh; and the magical symbol that was painted on doors during the Passover. The fate of Jesus connects to Christianity's Egyptian-based myth of the death and resurrectiuon of Osiris. The most important symbol of the Royal Arch Degree in Freemasonry is the 'Triple Tau'. These three interlocking taus (a T resting atop the middle of a horizontal I) represents the power of king, priest and prophet.
In the Egyptian religion, the Osiris-Isis-Horus trinity was symbolised by a right-angled triangle. Osiris was the base; Isis was the perpendicular; and Horus, their son, was the hypotenuse. Pythagoras, during his stay in Egypt, discovered or was told the mystic-geometric secret of right angles, to which his name is still attached: the sum of the squares of the two shorter sides is equal to the square of the longest side (hypotenuse). The sacred fertility geometry of the right angle formula is expressed by the idea that the product of Osiris and Isis is Horus. That formula and the right-triangle have a large place in the 3rd degree of Freemasonry, which involves a symbolic death and rebirth.
Later in the waking state and reverie, I suddenly realized that this "Central Sun" subject of 'T', 'oTo', 'briTain', the "uniting of earth and heaven", etc., was directly connected to 'meXIco', whose central characters are 'XI' or '11', the Thelemic number of dimensional transmutation and the highest degree in the OTO by Crowley's recension. I was afterwards told in dream that XI/11 symbolizes the process of higher dimensions 'stepping down' in frequency to the earth plane, as occurs with UFOs, which are said to have landed at Roswell, New Mexico and other places, making Mexico a 'New' Mexico by the alien presence, who were summoned by OTO-Illuminati ritual. At these weird sites that give paranormal phenomena such as light patterns/earth lights, UFO encounters, oracular visions and voices, the characteristic forms, reported from many seperate places, are in the shape of a ground-based hemisphere, a floating sphere, a single column of light or several columns together. Sometimes these columns have cross-arms at the top, in the shape of the letter 'T' or like the trilithons of Stonehenge. In certain circumstances, the columns appear to be in humanoid form, interpreted by night as "white ladies", but seen by day as darker, smoky, shapes.
A T-shaped implement for measuring the depth of furrows in the field was known in Latin as the ciconia, which is also the Latin term for the stork, ever the type and emblem of maternal and filial affection, a bird identified with, or as, the Phoenix. 'Phoenix' is of course an Illuminati emblem for both their Order and their Gnosis, and was also Crowley's secret name in the OTO. The Phoenix symbolises a rebirth not only of an individual inside the Masonic/Mystery Religion, but also of a new civilization arising out of the ashes of the ruined one. This is the Grand Plan of the Illuminati.
To guarantee a dream of her future love on Hallowe'en, a young girl could place her shoes in the form of a 'T', a potent talisman representing the testes and shaft of the Male; and the ovaries and womb of the Female. Also the Phallus in the Cuntus, hence the secret meaning of the inverted triangle of three dots. She makes a sacrifice, then says, "Hoping this night my true love to see, I place my shoes in the form of a T". T as the male and female generative organs, when combined with T as the straight and hard handle-shaft inserted into the double-axe head, or as the mighty hammer of the Scandinavian god Thor, is cognate with the Sex and Death, Positive and Negative, Creation and Destruction pendulum swing the main focus of NWO Illuminati rituals and ceremonies.
In the imaginative manuscripts of Guido von List, the völkisch ideologue, rune magician and Aryan-racist-nationalist Ariosophist, an upright pentagram often replaces a 't' for some no doubt mysterious reason full of pregnant import. (See Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke, The Occult Roots of Nazism, I.B. Tauris & Co. 1992, p.233. Although their allegiances differed widely, List - who was prone to the "clairvoyant illumination that certain places induced in his mind" - certainly thought and lived in a Downardian manner, and a study of his work may prove useful. As the chapter 'The Secret Heritage' and elsewhere in The Occult Roots shows, List was very much into tables of occult correspondences; significant place names; site visit improvised dowsings; a secret language comprehensible only to initiates; popular legends and folk tales as tutelary parables of ancient wisdom; secret rune messages concealed in heraldic shields and coats-of-arms; masonic sigils hidden in the design of Gothic tracery and rose windows etc).
Here is an excerpt from a text I constructed from my dream diary recordings, waking trance states and automatic writing experiments exploring these 'Central T and XI' experiences:
The OTO and Thelema 93 are mentioned the dancing red dress woman and a white suited man who sits next to the radio seems important and connected to getting to the physical center location of Britain (the central 'T' of OTO and BRITAIN is earth connecting to heaven the micro-macro cosm marriage) they are talking about ALl (Liber AL - All) the red woman how Alchemy wants to fix all the forces of the cosmos into an earthly substance talisman weapon used for all forms of power . . . when I was doing votaries Aleister Crowley observed that "Others left ajar introduce a recording" his real book was an illustrated story about "sinking to the depths, looking behind yourself and seeing an amorphous mass - with addresses and names on it (all future potential selves) - constantly changing protean forms of flesh" you can't get anywhere if you just develop the mind you can't get anywhere if you just develop the one body only for the mind to inhabit to empower yourself you must know that there is another body waiting on the other side for you to go to directly should your work here be finished prematurely you must go and find it and have it there ready and waiting . . . "Make use of your Daily Stars" . . . I see a Scottish bank note with ALEISTIC CROWLEY printed on it . . . (ALEISTIC is anagram of ELASTIC I).
This seems to be very relevant and powerful, if not here then on some other parallel world of wide difference. Working mathematically, dividing a map of all the countries of the British Isles with a cross formed from a North-South line and an East-West line and taking the place where they intersect each other to be the central point of Britain doesn't really work if we include Ireland and the Shetlands etc., as then it is somewhere near or on the Isle of Man or in the Irish Sea. In my vision, the OTO were searching somewhere in England, so we should only look there perhaps. Nigel Ayers does in his essay The Ludic Quest, locating the central point to be close to Tideswell in the Peak District, at a rocky outcrop known as "Peter's Stone", which lies "at the base of the Pennines, the backbone of England", and which he claims "bears a curious resemblance to the Omphalos at Delphi, said to be the exact centre of ancient Greece, where stood a special stone used as an oracle".
I had filed this subject in a back cabinet of my mind, and had almost forgotten about it, when in the early hours of 1 December 2001 whilst in a haze of magenta reverie I thought I heard someone on a phone-in radio show say that a place called "Meridian", about five miles Northwest of Coventry, is the true center of England. I looked it up on the map and found that it was actually called 'Meriden', which sounds the same but spells different. The meridian means 'of or at midday', the middle of the whole day; also 'culmination or highest point, as of success, splendour, power'. When the Sun is at the meridian it is this time of noon and at the height of its radiant power. Liber AL was dictated on three successive days, each day beginning at midday.
Using the Geographers' A-Z Map of London, Edition 11(F), which is based upon the Ordnance Survey 1:10,560 Maps, Berkeley Square is aligned on a straight line with the statue of Eros in the middle of Piccadilly Circus roundabout. EROS is an anagram of ROSE, hence his connection to the Rosicrucian rites of sacred sexual magick, but according to some ancient writers, Eros has a darker side to his character, and was the son of Chaos, and "his cult at Thespiai centered round a primitive symbol - an unhewn stone". In the 1960s-70s the rough concrete steps in the middle of Piccadilly Circus where Eros stands were a main hangout for young drifters, drug takers and drop outs. (Nowadays Piccadilly Circus - especially its underground tube station - is a notorious magnet-web for junkies and prostitutes. The circus travels from town to town, appearing at the same sites at regular times, like a recurring haunting or UFO flap).
Just a street away from Berkeley Square is Curzon Street, where at Leconfield House (which has no street number) MI5 had its Headquarters between 1945 and 1976, known to insiders as "The Pink Elephant" in a joking comparison with the White Elephant Club in the same street. Pink Elephants are the traditional term for hallucinations, for seeing things which are not really there, something MI5 pride themselves on being adept at inducing. Famous Satanic Ritual Abuse survivor Audrey Harper in her book Dance with the Devil, co-written with Harry Pugh, mentions an unnamed little pub just off Curzon Street which was the hangout in the late 1950s of subversive alternative types, wherein she was recruited by two female agents of a Satanic cult involved in drugs, pedophile pornography, and human sacrifice, which was based in Virginia Water, an exclusive district of Surrey. The cult left written messages and heroin for her with the barman, in her coven name, "Luci", the "fallen half of Lucifer".
In a statement which implies she was more a victim of MI5 mind-control rather than the hand of Satan (although some would claim the two are the same thing), Harper claims to have been given details of coven meetings by "Satan's telephone", which began with a mounting pressure in her head, a "strange pulling" and "buzzing" which sometimes brought on a blinding headache, and then telepathic voices or some "inner compulsion told me when, and where, to go". When she saw occult events such as festivals advertised it would "stir something up inside my mind and get me absolutely racing with a strange sense of excitement and expectancy". Later she speculated that Satan's telephone was guiding her towards other witchcraft activity.
Harper was deeply involved with (or used by) the right-wing bigoted Christian groups who spread the Satanic Panic scare, notably the Reachout Trust, who circulated a videotape of Harper telling her SRA story to anyone who wanted to see it; and the Evangelical Alliance, who included an account of her life in their anti-occult Doorways to Danger pamphlet, which was picked up by the television media and led to her many TV appearances, well-attended lectures to the 'right' people and friendship with Geoffrey Dickens MP, the state asset or unwitting dupe (a "useful idiot" in Intelligence-speak) in the SRA affair, who wrote the foreword to her Dance book. In March 1966, The Process Church of the Final Judgement (a probable Establishment-run mind control cult) moved into a large mansion at Balfour Place near to Curzon Street. The "Mindbenders of Mayfair" as the London Sunday Telegraph described them, were actively recruiting at this time, mostly via their mansion's basement coffee bar called "Satan's Cavern", where occult instruction was given for the small admittance fee.
The MI5 HQ is straight-aligned with Charing Cross and the Cleopatra's needle obelisk, a parallel alignment to the Berkeley Square-Eros-Savoy Hotel line. Leconfield House is now home to Experian, Britains biggest credit reference agency, who run the Mosaic computer programme database, filled with very personal cross-referenced data files on 40 million people without their permission. Type in any postcode and the software will tell you what brand of clothes the person wears, whether he uses credit cards or cash to pay for them, what drink he is partial too etc., and what overall social group he belongs to. (According to Richard Deacon, A History of British Secret Service, in the late 1800s the Charing Cross Hotel in London was used as headquarters by the Dynamitards, a revolutionary group who had travelled over from America. From their London HQ they established a nitro-glycerine factory in Birmingham, from where large quantities of liquid were dispatched to various points in London in rubber bags and rubber shooting-stockings. What their actual plan was remains unknown, but after they were captured as a result of a tip off, the Secret Service discovered enough Dynamitard nitro-glycerine to blow up the whole of London).
In the first Rosicrucian manifesto, the Fama Fraternitatis, it is stated that the original Rosicrucian brotherhood agreed to remain secret for one hundred years before revealing themselves to the world, and in this respect they were known in some circles as "Century Men". For a long time the MI6 Headquarters were located at Century House, 100 Westminster Bridge Road in London. MI5's mail address was/is: Room 055, The War Office, London. Reversed, the Room number is: 5+5 = 10, add the 0 and it totals 100. More Century Men. When they (100) do magic (5, the Pentagram) it multiplies and generates 500. "Box 500" is the spook term for MI5. The third Rosicrucian manifesto entitled The Chemical Wedding of Christian Rosencreutz, was first published in 1616. 100 years later a Freemasonic lodge were meeting at the Goose and Gridiron tavern just off St. Paul's Churchyard and near to Mitre Court, and the next year they and others held the first and founding meeting of the Grand Lodge (now the United Grand Lodge of England) at the tavern, on the 24th June 1717, St. John the Baptist's Day. The Century Men hide within their nomenclature: 10 = Completeness, so 100 = Super or Eternal Completeness. They are the Masters of Time, and perfectors of the Great Work.
100 = QUEEN, the Illuminati Mother Goddess. Every human embryo is initially female and any development to male takes place after about seven weeks, which is why men have nipples. Hence the Illuminati Mother Goddess is the source of all. She is triple-aspected, Virgin-Whore-Crone, and all three can be unpredictable maddened deranged when lost in Her love ecstasy womb radar, which Qabalist Lewis Carroll alludes to painting the outer-logical 'Queen of Hearts' in Alice's Adventures In Wonderland. She is the Queen Honey Bee of Freemasonry (whose current United Grand Lodge headquarters is located on Great Queen Street in London), the "Powers That Be(e)", overseeing her hive network of Masonic drones who guard the secret nectar of Her Royal Jelly, their deep low humming sound resonating with the voice of the Old Ones and UFO engines, to which they call. Sometimes, when a pioneering outsider bee returns to the hive loaded with pollen, it performs a curious, remarkably and consistently accurate figure-of-eight "waggle dance", its direction pointing to where the pollen is located, its quickness showing how far away the pollen is. These bees are reflections of the Masonic leaders of men.
The Elector Palatine, Rosicrucian supporter and helmsman had emblems of beehives and spiders webs, which can be seen in A Hundred Ethico-Political Emblems by Julius Gulielmus Zincgreff, a work dedicated to, and a statement of moral and political support for, the Elector Palatine published in 1619. This symbolism relates to the Voodoo Spider Queen of Space, a "cosmic super-brain", worshipped on this planet by cults such as the Obeah branch of Voodoo and the Typhonian OTO. Her eight legs are the eight directions along which her thoughts and powers are transmitted and through which she receives worship from her followers. A giant psychic aerial. The eggs she releases are the stars and UFOs. The strands of her web is the 'rain' which was first noticed in 1917 during the appearances of the Lady of Fatima in Portugal, said to be the Virgin Mary, and since then also, especially on 13 May, the anniversary of her first appearance, as a shower of white objects like flakes of snow which come down in a brilliant ray of supernatural light, as if they were drawn to Earth by the irresistible current of a river of dazzling brightness. They become narrower as one watches them coming down, and disappear as soon as they touch the ground. It was seen again in 1952, accompanying certain formations of mysterious flying craft in the skies above Oloron in the Basses-Pyrenées, and has manifested since then with other UFOs - which leave a considerable trail behind them that drifts silently down to earth, where it can resemble woollen or nylon thread, or glass wool. For several hours tufts of it hangs on trees, telephone wires and the roofs of houses, then it usually becomes gelatinous very quickly, and melts and disintegrates. However, some of this "angel hair" has been collected while still drifting in the air, immediately sealed and placed in a freezer which stabilized a few of the samples. Laboratory analysis showed it to be an aminester, in the same family as spider webs, but definitely not spider webs or any other similar natural substance they could identify.
MI6 had another, 'hidden' HQ located at 21 Queen Anne's Gate in Westminster, London. This location is full of deeply concealed SOS which all connects to form a potent, constant web of power. In the first few decades of MI6's existence, female employees were known as "Queenies", as they were only selected from the upper class, the royal aspect elite breeding bloodline. They really were Illuminati Queens. During WWII there were rumours that the SIS Occult Bureau had one "Ann" who could sit in her chair in her London flat, and send her astral body out into the aether to read the secret documents of the German High Command.
There is a strange tradition that on the anniversary of her death (1 August 1714), the statue of Queen Anne in Queen Anne's Gate climbs down off her plinth to wander the nearby streets with a slow, clunking gait, emerging out of the gloom to stare accusingly at a startled citizen. To the mind of early man the statue was the god. And they were - magical rituals were performed to make statues come alive, usually by placing an astral double inside the physical form. They were painted head to foot, and appeared very lifelike. The sight of them kept the thought of the depicted god or leader in the minds of the populace, immortalised, and the stone or marble versions themselves kept an unwavering, constant eye on people, reporting back to their fleshy original and telling what they had learnt. The widely-held belief that holy men can be in many places/times at once derives from this most ancient art.
In Sumerian the word An means 'Heaven'. In Ireland, many holy wells were dedicated to St. Anne, who was previously known there before Christianity as "Anu", the Mother of all the Pagan gods. In Britain, her reputation was more sinister; here she was known as "Black Annis", the storm hag who devoured children. Queen An(ne)-Mother Goddess symbolism permeates the whole secret structure of the Illuminati. The Rosicrucian movement, which instigated Freemasonry and the Secret Intelligence Service, began in England with John Dee's occult circle at the command of the "Faery" Queen Elizabeth I. The first Golden Dawn Temple, founded in 1887, was called the Isis-Urania Temple of the Hermetic Students of the Golden Dawn, and worked its First, or Outer Order rituals at Mark Mason's Hall in Great Queen Street, London WC2. MASON = MA (Mother Isis) SON (Son Horus). (The FREE = Father Osiris).
Such Alchemical-Caballistic Twilight Language Workings performed by Cagliostro are nowadays also practised by the CIA, another occult organization that is in love with numbers and hidden meanings. This can be clearly seen in the case of the mass suicide in Rancho Santa Fe, USA, by the Heaven's Gate (or Queen An's Gate?) "Bo Peep" cult, which was instigated by the CIA using their MK-ULTRA mind control program to convince 39 people to kill themselves. In Freemasonry, 39 is a perfect number. Taking A = 1, B = 2 etc., the letters CIA yield 391. If you drop A (for Agency) from CIA you get CI (Central Intelligence). Thus Central Intelligence (CI) yields 39. If you add the numerical equivalents of CIA (3+9+1) you get the number 13, the traditional number for evil. Since CIA has three letters, multiply 3 by 13 and you get 39. It is fact that 21 women and 18 men killed themselves. 21+18 = 39. By using Basic Numerology, the number 39 can be found again. 21 = 2+1 = 3. 18 = 1+8 = 9. Thus 21 represents 3 and 18 represents 9, thus 39.
Also, if you add 2+1+1+8 you get 12. MJ-12 (the Majestic Twelve) is an Above Top Secret organization connected via the CIA and Military Intelligence to the Dark Alien Hive, in a long-term joint venture in which hidden underground bases for nefarious alien activities play a part in the pact made with those diabolical and completely untrustworthy Gray abducting aliens. The Heaven's Gate suicides began on March 24th. All of the cultists who killed themselves thought that they would be transported to an alien spaceship that was travelling behind the Hale-Bop comet. As John A. Keel and others have shown, the number 24 shows up again and again in connection with Alien-UFO phenomena, especially in close encounters with UFOs and the deaths of UFOlogists. There are 24 major Time Zones of the Earth, and UFO-Alien contact experiences often concern the nature of time, and how it isn't constant, but fluid, and open to manipulation. This connects to the interdimensional axis. How we all have learned everything by the age of nine. Were the misguided Heaven's Gate victims a mass sacrifice to the Alien Central Intelligence Hive who secretly control the world via the CIA, MI6-5 and other Intelligence Agencies?
