AUDIO

ORB THIRD SIDE BROADCASTS

The OKOK Research Bureau's occult audio experiments, known as "Third Side Broadcasts", were originally constructed on magnetic tape, exploring the things that are not on the tape, for the interest of the dreamlevel, or shadow, or "Third Side" of the tape, that is felt during or after listening. Originally released on audio-cassettes then CD-Rs, they are now available here as high quality MP3s. The introductory ORB Third Side Broadcasts Sampler - that consists of the first five minutes of every OKOK Research Bureau Third Side Broadcast listed below - is here, and more information plus tracklists have been compiled into a single PDF file.

NO DEMONSTRATIONAL MEANING
A spontaneous (and since disowned) voice reading by Mark Reeve of any excerpts from The OKOK Manual (Luminous Press 1999) into an antique ribbon microphone and homemade effects unit. A relentless crazed existential angst barrage ejaculated whilst thinking of old mines.
Self-published 1999 | 128Kbps | 44.100Hz | 36mins | MP3

NEXZEN
Having acquired an anti-idle batch of unbranded chrome C42 audio-cassettes in 2000 straight, the OKOKians set to work filling them to fulfill the need for a weird montage background tape that when played would evoke the particular atmosphere peculiar to it, in this case "The real Twin Peaks." Here is the high-quality MP3 conversion.

Released in a limited edition of 10 copies in January 2018, it consists of a roughly-hewn Black Book made from a sheaf of vintage photo-album paper, that is designed to be read in twilights whilst listening to the accompanying 39-minute audio MP3, 53617438297621, that consists of shortwave radio static and stations originally recorded onto bi-analogue tape by The OKOK Society during the 1990s.
