TOO MANY DOMINOES

Sometimes a short haiku-like work is composed in a flash because it came when the 'author' wasn't looking. It's been known to clean windows and reverse children. Here it is augmented by the hand-decorated correspondence of Dr Adolf Steg, superimposed on itself by myself:

Last ditch tweaks early in shit, glued to torrential screaming screens. Plastic surgeons under the British Museum game the next honeymoon with melted stone. Queer histrionics in the dented chamber, the wrong way wizard and his coathanger constellation influencing the Suicide Switch and Phantom of the Paradise. Time paradox after dark, every witch way leading clockwork mice up the garden path on greased pigs into scotch mist and their Prime Minister fucking loon.

OKOK SESSIONISTS

This photomontage layer experiment that I planned and made around 2004 has always intrigued me. Look at it right and it says a lot about parallel dimensions, dimensional interpenetration, and the spectral keystone... I'm not sure if it's me looking at it or it looking at me. One night gaze long I end up in a purple and orange room brass device in the centre powdered red crystals surround air nectar tutelary in the corners. Buzz walked into the planetarium swinging his pocket-watch through vibrating Molech-ules. Type in CONMEN and I dream past outer beacons. It gets all flowery and weird; every sip is nice, and some of the tracks reach even further. Recondite snuff to heaven surge.

THE VISITOR DECODES

A better source is needed. A better source is needed. A better source is needed. A better source is needed. A better source is needed. A better source is needed. A better source is needed. A better source is needed. A better source is needed.

If everyone carefully and with love and wonder painted an image of the Sun with a smiling face and rays in many different shades of yellow and gold, then placed it prominently in their homes, this country would change interestingly.

PLAIN SIGHT PROTOCOLS

Strange fields are calling. One thinks they are this but they are that if you look different. The air there also, has unusual effects. I think there's something underneath. I think the infra-red. The key is a combination of OS Map References.

NAMES, RANKS, DUTIES

Making a takeover easy involves hiding in the woods. It's out there...they walk past it...inside the trees. Sex at the rock formation where the compass spins. 36 daughters unite in muscle memory. The base turn off some motorway disconnect.

DOUBLE LOCATIONS

The existence of UK 'twin' towns and villages that have the same name has always seemed a bit odd to me. I was perusing a map today (the 1990 Bartholomew Road Atlas of Britain - a marvel of crisp design and clear logic) and noticed a small town named Cults about five miles southwest of Aberdeen in Scotland. Why the hell would anyone call a town "Cults"?! As it's situated on the A93 road can we assume it's some kind of hidden Thelemic stronghold? And why is there another town named Cults in Scotland, four miles northeast of Whithorn in Dumfries, on the B7004? One town with such a bizarre name is weird enough - but TWO? More research should be done, for there are more places of Named Wyrd throughout these Sceptred Isles. On a recent investigational joyride near Shrewsbury on the Welsh-English border, we came across the peculiar village named Nox (Latin for 'night'; 'darkness', especially in an esoteric sense), which certainly lives up to its sinister-sounding name, as we sensed Black Gothic activity behind the scenes at several points on various timelines.

IS OR ISN'T WHAT?

Of all the psychic photos that feature something that wasn't there at the time the picture was taken, this example (reproduced above) stands out as one of the most interesting. It was shot on the aptly-named Kodacolor X film by fireman James Templeton at Burgh Marsh in Cumberland, England, on 24 (some accounts say 26) May 1964. Apart from Mr & Mrs Templeton and their two daughters there was no other soul on the marsh that day. The cows and sheep were behaving oddly however, huddling together as if responding to some unseen force or invisible threat.

The position of the figure is odd. Unless the 'spaceman' is floating in mid-air, he is eight feet tall or higher - or is this effect a warping of natural perspective as would occur when two different dimensions momentarily interpenetrate? Perhaps the initial invisibility of the spaceman or UFO was due to it phasing in and out of reality at a rapid oscillating frequency so fast that the human eye could not register it, but the mechanical camera lens shutter speed could.

The way in which he seems to be looking directly at the camera suggests that he is indeed an alien, unfamiliar with Earth technology, and naturally curious as to what this flashing lensed device is for. Also note the resemblance between the figure's helmet and the 'helmet' type haircut of Templeton's daughter, Elizabeth. Perhaps, as 'like attracts like' in the occult world, the alien was drawn to the aura of the girl, thinking she was one of his own kind, or related to him in some way, due to the similiar 'headgear' being worn.

The photo has been cropped for publication, and the reproduction shown above is a many-generational copy, also undergoing distortional jpeg compression, which has degraded the quality of the image. The original is a full length shot in much sharper focus, which obviously depicts a real being in a white suit, the increase in clarity ruling out possibilities of an optical glitch or simulacrum effect.

James Templeton did not court fame nor fortune from the event, and the negative has been examined by many experts who were all equally baffled, ruling out suspicions of a hoax. Kodak even offered "free film for life" as an incentive to any of their staff who could figure out how the image was formed. No-one has ever claimed the reward. As the figure looks rather as if it is wearing a radiation suit, and Burgh Marsh was situated near Chapel Cross nuclear power station, an MOD base constructing Blue Streak rockets, and a VLF radar station - even a police team examined the photo, who also declared defeat after many weeks of study, the official CID position being "Sorry, we haven't a clue".

Several months (some accounts say a few days) after the spaceman photo was made, Mr and Mrs Templeton supposedly received a classic visit at home by two Men In Black wearing bowler hats, whose behaviour was typically bizarre as they questioned James Templeton. They did not refer to each other by names but by numbers, and were never identified.

A few weeks after this visit Mr Templeton took another strange photograph on Burgh Marsh, a streak of light climbing into the sky, which again wasn't there at the time the photo was shot. On collecting this new roll of film from the developers, he discovered that all the photos taken on Burgh Marsh had been confiscated. On alerting the police, they told him that the film had been seconded by the government as part of an official investigation, as during a British rocket launch around the time "when you took that photograph of the man" some automatic cameras had recorded "more or less the same thing", the launch being aborted as a result. This took place at Woomera in Australia, another location of frequent MIB activity.

IF ONE PERSISTS IN THE FOLLY...

The rather fascinating five-acre archeological conundrum site located in a remote, secluded valley in Llygadwy, Powys, Southeast Wales, has garnered much interest from occult psychogeographers and more staid researchers over recent years. The known former are currently gestating. In the latter camp, a 1999 survey by the American William B. Barr & Associates makes enjoyable informative reading.

More recently, in early-2001 the Channel 4 TV "Time Team" conducted their own investigation of the site and made a film of the proceedings (Time Team, Series 8, Episode 3: The Celtic Spring), stills of which are reproduced above. Their conclusions about the location - with its megalith, Neolithic tomb, Roman watchtower, coins, jewellery, statuettes and carved stone heads, etc. - are that it is an elaborate forgery or extravagant folly, part of the early-19th Century Victorian love affair with all things of the misty heroic past; the passionate Celtic Revival that spawned much of wonder and beauty in many mediums.

The Llygadwy site is certainly atmospheric mysterious, with hidden depth doors, and while its history may not be as ancient as was once claimed, I posit that the INTENT behind the creation of the site was pure and of noble aspiration, like that of the original creators of the Stonehenge and Avebury rings. Thus Llygadwy has the SAME magical effect on people as these older other environs do. It's well worth a physical or astral visit.

THE BLACKLIGHT ABBA CAST

Something delivered an impromptu performance at the Blacklight Chamber private members club in Wrexham tonight. No Demonstratable Meaning consisted of the cloaked and improvised reading of random selections from the infamous Ummaman Manual to a stunned and disturbed audience of New Agers and other assorted pseudo-weirdos who got more than they bargained for. The disquieting spoken-word that stranges enveloped them with unknown imaginings as the invocations passed through weird analogue electronic effects and mystic special incense smoke, provoking macabre transmundane vistas that refused to be censored by the mind filter. No one really knows what happened, but an uneasy air pervaded the room long after the climax, as the orator slipped back into the dark abyss, leaving by a concealed trapdoor as the trembling audience sat bewildered in the potent silence that is always present in the aftermath of genuine magical display.
